Why LTA: "I began my interest in LTA because I wanted a place on campus where as an out-of-state student, I could see my culture represented and celebrated. LTA has been a place for me to showcase my culture and minority identity freely. LTA's philanthropic message of St Jude Children's Research Hospital also aligns with the future career I see for myself as a pharmaceutical researcher focusing on cures and treatments for pediatric terminal diseases."

Why LTA: "I chose LTA because it gave me a sense of belonging when my whole life has been trying to fit into cultures that weren't mine due to the lack of representation within the community I lived in. Also because my career goal is to become a Physician Assistant in Pediatric Neurology because I love kids, and I struggled with a spinal injury 2 years ago that left me feeling along and misunderstood when it came to my pain. I want to help those who may have similar struggles understand that they are heard and not alone.
